Do you have any up-front costs to get started with your fundraisers?

NO. Once you sign up for your fundraiser we will send you a start up packet which includes:

  • Full-color, custom-printed order forms.
  • Posters for your facility
  • Support and information to have a successful fundraising event.

Your group receives a bill approximately 2 weeks prior to delivery. Payment due upon delivery.

How long does it take to run a fundraiser with LaBraid fundraising?

A typical fundraiser with LaBraid fundraising will last approximately (4) weeks from Start Date to
Delivery. This may take slightly longer during our Thanksgiving sales due to higher volume.
Also, this time frame assumes your group will sell for only two (2) weeks.
You may choose to sell longer by starting your sale earlier.

What are your order minimums? Shipping costs?


Your group must order at least 100 items to place an order with us. If your group doesn't sell at least 100
items you may choose to order enough to make up the difference and sell them later, or cancel your order.

We have minimum amounts for free delivery, which is based on distance
from our office. Please contact us for more details.


How can our group get samples of your products?

Our products sell themselves. Because of that fact, we make a diligent effort to help your sales
by offering sampling options: We may be able to come to you with a fresh-baked sample. We’ll
come to parent meetings, PTA or PTO meetings,board meetings, coaches meetings, or other special
events with fresh-baked samples. This is a great way to introduce your group to our product and
create excitement about your sale. We’ll do all this for FREE! Just call or send an email to ask
questions and/or make arrangements.

How will other groups in my area selling your products affect my own sales?

We have been in business since 1992. Our experience, along with those of other dealers of our
products across the country, indicates that more groups selling our products in any given area is a
benefit to all the groups in that area. It raises the product awareness and creates interest, which
drive the sales for ALL groups. Once people purchase our product and try it, they can’t believe
how great it is. Since our products can only be purchased through a fundraiser,
and NOT IN STORES, they look forward to this fundraiser coming around and take advantage of
the opportunity. This gives our groups a distinct advantage!

When do we pay for our products? To whom are checks made payable?

During the course of your sale, all checks received from your customers must be made out to
YOUR GROUP. All money is deposited into your group’s account. Your group will cut us
a final check at the end of your sale to be collected at delivery.

Your payment to us should be made out to: LaBraid Inc.

How do we place our order with LaBraid fundraising?

Placing your order with LaBraid fundraising is simple.

Once you’ve tallied all your order forms by flavors, send your totals and number of participants via
email, phone (888-245-9855), or fax (219-754-1199). Whichever option is most convenient for you.

Do you offer any prize or incentive programs?

In order to maximize the monetary goals of our groups and offer a simple solution to your fundraising
needs, LaBraid fundraising will help you design your own, custom incentive program. We have
inexpensive, group sponsored incentive ideas that can meet your needs. Our experience has shown
that you as a group leader will usually know what works best for your group, rather than us conforming
you to a standard program that we design.

We can help you evaluate your ideas, and, if desired, share our ideas with you. This way, we will help you
develop a program that works for your group!

Can I sell your pastry line and cookie line simultaneously?

We do allow our customers to sell both our pastries and cookies at the same time; however, we want you
to be aware of what we have learned.

We have found our customers will usually sell more and increase their profitability if they separate our
two product lines into two different sales at different times. For instance, many of our customers will sell
our pastries in the Fall and our cookie dough in the Spring, or vice versa.

How does the delivery process with LaBraid fundraising work?

On delivery day, you should bring the original order forms collected from your sellers as well as any of
your own records. Please have three to five tables set up (depending on the size of your order) and a
few volunteers if necessary. (Generally 1 volunteer per 100 items) We will bring your order to your
location and stack them on the tables according to flavor. We will show you a simple, effective, and
accurate way to separate orders.

How long can your products stay out of the freezer?
 

Our products are perishable, frozen products!

We keep our products at or below 10° F. Once we arrive and deliver your order, your product will
need to be back into a freezer within 3 to 4 hours. We usually need 30 minutes (depending on size)
to unload your order. Please communicate to supporters and particpants (Ask us about our parent letter)
the importance of picking up or distributing their orders as quickly as possible. Remember to place the
product in a freezer right away!
 
Over the years, we have streamlined our process to prepare and handle any issues related
to frozen products. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
